| Ballroom Brawl | Judge: Don Glewwe | | The first round of this year's Brawl-a-thon will be the seldom-seen boardgame member of the club. In suitable Frankensteinian tradition, this Risk/Sorcerer/Diplomacy-hybrid monster finds players controlling one of six dance/music styles struggling for control of public taste and space on the dance floor. As is the case in many Factory offerings, the surface silliness/simplicity lies over a subtle, tactic-rich challenge. If all you've ever done in a Brawl-a-thon is shoot cowboys or stab orcs, you're invited to try your hand at something a bit different -beats wandering around the Con in the first slot with your hands in your pockets...
NOTE: The game works best with 3 or 6 players, and only takes two hours to play. The number of games played will be decided based on the number of interested players.
General Brawl-a-thon info: Gamers may play in as many Brawls as they wish. The one with the most points at the end of the Con will get their name pinned to the Trophy Hat. | Rules: Brawl Factory | From: 3 to 12 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: N/A |

Come one, come all; if you're new to the Æther system, it's a great way to get introduced, and if you're an old veteran of the system, it's a great way to get reacquainted. | Movie Heckling, part 1 | Judge: Nick Zachariasen | | Once again, Nick's bringing a double-header of failures of cinema to watch and enjoy through audience-provided ridicule. The movie for this event is Adios Amigos, starring Richard Pryor during his less-than-sober years and directed by blaxploitation mainstay Fred Williamson. Doesn't that sound like quality to you?
Note: We'll take a break (probably 15 minutes, maybe 30) between this heckling and the next. | Rules: A biting sense of humor | From: 2 to 0 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: N/A |
| Movie Heckling, part 2 | Judge: Nick Zachariasen | | Continuing with the movie heckling, we're going to watch another movie with a well-known actor, though this one did good movies far less frequently than Richard Pryor. I'm talking about David Carradine. His movie The Warrior and the Sorceress is a bizarre trip through some kind of fantasy something-or-another, so we're going to throw verbal tomatoes at it.
Note, of course, that with either heckling, if i forget to bring the movie planned on, I'll find something else. | Rules: A biting sense of humor | From: 2 to 0 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: N/A |
Saturday 8am - Noon| Sioux City Grand Prix Tournament | Judge: Lance Curry | | Engines roar as you speed down the straightaways. Brakes groan as you traverse corners and chicanes. There will be four laps per track. The seven tracks are: 1) Argentina, 2) South Africa, 3) Portugal, 4) San Marino, 5) Switzerland, 6) Watkins Glen, and 7) Monza. | Rules: Speed Circuit | From: 2 to 12 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: N/A |
| "Fog of War" Flames of War Doubles Tournament | Judge: David Glewwe | | This will be a Late War Tournament, using all of the Army lists from late war books as well as OFFICIAL PDF from the FoW Website. Each player will bring a 1500 point LW army, and will be "Fog of War" randomly paired with another player who has an army from the same "side" (Axis or Allied). There will be NO battalion HQ!
Army histories are not required. Armies do not have to be painted, though they have a good visual effect if they are. Try to have teams/units that are WYSIWYG, though some teams like Allied Flametrhowers should have some way of being designated as such. Let your opponent know of anything special about a unit or team.
Terrain will be set up for Italy, Normandy, Holland, and the Eastern Front. Terrain will be explained before the games start. Missions will be from the Standard Rule book, as well as from Sullplmentary Army list books, such as "No Retreat" or "Hasty Assault" but all teams will play the same 3 Missions.
Thus, 3 rounds, each round lasting 3 hours. If either Company from the team breaks from a Failed Motivation Test, the game ends. Total Victory Points will determine the team winner. EACH team's Company scores Victory points.
Time Frame:
Registration on Saturday from 8am to 9am
Round 1: 9:00am to noon (short break for lunch)
Round 2: 12:30pm to 3:30pm
Round 3: 4:00 pm to 7:00pm

| WW1 Aircombat - 1916: British reconnaisance | Judge: Don Glewwe | | The Somme offensive remains a disaster, but the effort continues -chin chin, and all that rot. Information is still requested from HQ, and up the boys from Eaton go. Against them are the usual suspects, along with a few Germans who've learned a thing or two... This game is NOT a "flying game" -the little fellows in the models know how to do their particular bits of business, and it's only up to the players to tell them WHAT to do (not HOW to do it). Think of this as the dogfighting equivalent of one of the Factory's brawls: You don't know how to swing a sword or fire a gun/blaster -that's for your characters to handle, right? Same-same here: As long as you know that flying backwards is not an option, and that hitting the ground is bad you know enough to play this game. | Rules: Brawl Factory (http://www.glewwe-castle.com/brawl-factory/WAD%20-%20rules2.pdf) | From: 2 to 6 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: Micro Scale |

| Jawgrinder | Judge: Robert McCabe | | Remember when super heroes had muscles upon muscles, highly improbable poses, and grimaced an awful lot? Return to those bygone days of the ‘90s when image was everything. There will be plenty of bad attitudes, big guns, and enough time travel paradoxes to make your brain hurt in this easy-to-learn role playing game. | Rules: QAGS | From: 2 to 8 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: N/A |
| Their Finest Hour | Judge: Larry Armin | | British Spitfires and Hurricanes against the onslaught of Germany's Luftwaffe over the English Channel and high above England. Players take the role of a fighter pilot on either side, the rules run the bombers. Using simple diagrams and very easy rules, players plot their moves; combat is a single d10 roll; damage is recorded graphically. Will the British repeat history and stop the Germans, or will Germany prevail? A scenario represents about 2-3 minutes of actual time; the average scenario takes about 90 minutes, so we may be able to play multiple scenarios. If you get shot down, you start another pilot and aircraft, no one gets put out of the game in the first couple of moves. PLEASE: Players should be at least 60" tall to manipulate the flight stands safely. | Rules: D.F.C (pre-publication playtest) | From: 4 to 14 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: N/A |
| Revenge of the Robot Masters | Judge: Nick Zachariasen | | The year is 20XX. Dr. Wily's Robot Masters have gathered to plan a takeover of Monsteropolis, this time with all their combined might. However, Dr. Wily never truly controlled the robots he co-built with Dr. Light. He only gave them free will. These Robot Masters (the ones from Mega Man 1 and 3) realize during the speech that Wily was using them all along. Now they're going to do what Mega Man never could— bring Albert Wily down once and for all. To do it, they're going to have to go through their still-loyal brothers. A thematic cross between The Warriors and Inglourious Basterds, this game should please any fan of classic Mega Man. | Rules: Savage Worlds | From: 3 to 6 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: N/A |
| The Battle of Dunberg | Judge: Dave Baymiller | | In World War II, the Nazis have developed a super-soldier program. The show down between Axis and Allies is tonight, in the sleepy town of Dunberg! | Rules: Savage Worlds | From: 3 to 6 Players | | Exp: Some Experience Preferred | Scale: N/A |

| WW1 Aircombat - Roughhouse over Polygon Wood | Judge: Don Glewwe | | Air Superiority has become more than a passing phrase, and each side recognizes the need to keep the other's reconnaisance planes out of the air. In the late afternoon/early evening of a late-summer's day, competing flights of fighters from both sides take to the skies above the trenches in an attempt to thin the ranks of the opposing force.

The usual Hatpins, daggers and knives, pistols, rifles and shotguns, as well as unlooked for surprises all make for a fun and fast-paced game in the Glewwe Brawl tradition. | Rules: Glewwe Brawl Factory | From: 6 to 10 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: 25/28mm |

| WW1 Aircombat - Player's choice | Judge: Don Glewwe | | If you're still hanging around and looking for something to do, stop by the Factory to try your hand at some novel/unusual/atypical aircombat rules. The aircraft will be up to you to choose: fancy flying Richthofen's red Triplane, or an early-war Eindecker of Fokker-Scourge fame, or perhaps a Versailles-Treaty-banned Fokker D-VII? -Or maybe you'd like to try commanding a Camel or SPAD or SE5a? Pick your mount and have at it over the trenches. | Rules: Brawl Factory (http://www.glewwe-castle.com/brawl-factory/WAD%20-%20rules2.pdf) | From: 1 to 6 Players | | Exp: No Experience Needed | Scale: Micro Scale |
